Short films, big impact: discover the magic in Leuven

From 28 November to 6 December 2025, the heart of Leuven becomes the place to be for short film lovers, thanks to the Leuven International Short Film Festival.
Choose from over 200 short films spread across eight days and five easily walkable venues in the city.
The programme includes a mix of competitive and non-competitive sections: animation, fiction, documentaries, youth films, comedy, and experimental work. A must-visit for film buffs and anyone curious to explore the world beyond feature-length cinema!
