Westerlo
Westerlo
Once upon a time, there was a quaint hostel on the edge of a forest where an old forest ranger used to live. A place where children now play, gnomes live and dolls can talk.
Westerlo
In the heart of Westerlo, a magical experience trail awaits young adventurers: the Little Countess Trail. Inspired by Countess Jeanne de Merode, this path invites kids aged 3 to 10 for a playful journey through the forest.
Along the nearly 2 km route in the Beeltjens nature area, children can climb, explore and engage their senses with wooden play features and interactive tasks. It’s a fun and educational way to learn about the forest and its creatures while enjoying the outdoors.
The trail starts right at our hostel, the Boswachtershuis – the perfect base when you stay with Hi Flanders!
