HomeExperiencesArt in nature: discover the Hugo Voeten Sculpture Garden in Geel
Westerlo
Westerlo
Once upon a time, there was a quaint hostel on the edge of a forest where an old forest ranger used to live. A place where children now play, gnomes live and dolls can talk.
Westerlo
On the border between Geel and Westerlo, in the heart of the Antwerp Kempen, lies a hidden gem where art and nature blend seamlessly: the Hugo Voeten Sculpture Garden. Spread over 15 hectares, you’ll find more than 200 sculptures by over 35 artists, including big names like Panamarenko, Wim Delvoye, and Pavel Koichev.
The garden was created by entrepreneur and art collector Hugo Voeten (1940–2017), who brought his eclectic taste and passion for art to life in this one-of-a-kind setting. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a unique nature experience, this sculpture garden offers an inspiring and tranquil escape.
