Paddleboarding on the Leie: enjoy water and culture

Stand-up paddleboarding, or SUP, has become incredibly popular in recent years. It’s accessible and easy to get into; almost anyone can learn it. Having good balance to stay upright on the board is helpful, of course. However, the advantage of paddleboarding through a city center is that the water is calm, making it easier to maintain your balance. Falling in is always a possibility, but that just adds to the thrill. Beginners can also start on their knees to build confidence and practice their balance.
